Our Mission

Mission Statement:  At The Campfire Project, we are dedicated to fostering the mental and emotional well-being of Veterans and First Responders through immersive recreational experiences. Our mission is to create a supportive environment that encourages self-identification of challenges, promotes healing, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging. By offering cost-free trips and meaningful connections, we strive to reignite the spark of purpose for those who have served our communities.

The Campfire Project provides recreational trips for Veterans and First Responders to encourage self-identification of mental and physical health challenges resulting from their occupation.  Once our participants have left full/part-time public service, they often lose connectivity with their informal physical and mental health support structure, resulting in depression, anxiety, and other conditions.  The Campfire Project recreates those environments where First Responders and Veterans feel comfortable and part of an objective-focused team.

Join us in our heartfelt mission to provide a safe haven for our brave Veterans and First Responders. Your generous donations will fuel The Campfire Project efforts in creating transformative recreational trips, where these heroes can rediscover camaraderie and support, away from the challenges of their demanding roles. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal of expanding into four states and securing essential resources, offering these selfless individuals the comfort and care they deserve. Together, let's light the way towards their well-being and ensure no hero stands alone after service.
