Held in late September in Ellensburg, Washington, this unique clinic combines horsemanship and fly fishing experiences to support veterans and first responders. Organized by The Campfire Project, the event is designed to foster healing, connection, and personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.

Horsemanship Component

Participants engage in ground-based interactions with horses, utilizing their natural therapeutic presence. Groundwork exercises are designed to enhance emotional resilience and well-being, allowing individuals to build trust, reduce anxiety, and connect through the powerful bond between humans and horses. All activities are conducted with safety as the highest priority.

Fly Fishing Experience

Alongside the horsemanship work, participants take part in fly fishing sessions aimed at promoting relaxation, mindfulness, and camaraderie. These shared outdoor experiences help re-establish a sense of mission and community that many veterans and first responders miss after service.
